A drill, procrastination, and doing it scared
Before last Thursday, I’d only used a drill once.
It happened ten years ago. The hole ended up bigger than anticipated and while it wasn’t disastrous, it didn’t make me particularly confident in my ability to use a drill again.
I avoided the drill for a decade…and then it came up again.
How To Get Through Fear
June 2017 was a month of HUGE uncertainty for me. I had internally decided to leave my job and become an entrepreneur, but I hadn’t actually pulled the trigger. About 90% of the time I was excited for the possibilities. The other 10% of the time I felt like someone had wrapped a corset around my lungs and pulled the strings tight. Here’s how I dealt with that fear.
